In January of 1999, attending Arizona State University, I needed a new challenge to do between classes. Process serving was the answer! I found it and wasn’t going to let that feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment go.

I loved every minute of it. I spent my days personally introducing myself to law firms, advertising in the Yellow Pages, serving people day and night, and preparing the proofs of service and invoice documents. I loved the fact that I was not only an important part of the justice system, but I was helping improve the way law firms operated. I always focus on operational improvements which not only automate routine tasks, but improves the profits of the owners of the law firms I work for. I see what I do as more of a “lifestyle improvement service” for the partners of my law firms. I believe that these improvements to my client’s law firms help reduce stress and create freedom to enjoy life more in the areas that are important to them. This is what gives me the passion to run this business. From the outside might look like an ordinary service that delivers lawsuits to people, but it’s much more than that.

My focus is to love God, love people, eat well, exercise often, spend quality and quantity amounts of time with his wife and kids, listen more, encourage people’s talents and have fun!

I was born in Phoenix, Arizona in 1977 at Doctor’s Hospital which is now known as Phoenix Children’s Hospital. I have great memories growing up in central Phoenix. At the age of five I told my mother, “I want to be a mailman.” I liked the idea of delivering mail and packages all over the city. I remember riding my Big Green Machine Bigwheels all over the neighborhood with friends, playing arcade games and drinking Icees at 7-11, spending time at my grandparents’ cabin on holiday weekends and playing pranks on my older sister. I also enjoyed hunting with my father. At age eleven, I killed his first deer in Kaibab, Arizona. I remember having my first beer and cigar while celebrating a great elk hunt with my father. I admired my father very much and wanted to grow up to be a business owner just like him.

I grew up attending public schools in Phoenix, Arizona. I enjoyed my friends more than my classes. My ambition was focused on the working world and I couldn’t wait to be done with school so I could get out there and follow my passion. I attended Royal Palm Junior High where I met my wife, Jodi, in the seventh grade. This was the era of passing notes, not texting or Insta-socializing! Then I joined my older sister at Washington High School.

During my junior year, I was serving detention in the principal’s office and I read a job posting on their bulletin board about helping an attorney deliver five-day notices to residents who were late paying their rent at apartment complexes. This was where I first got my experience in process serving. I really enjoyed the job and the satisfaction of completion was addicting.

After graduating high school, I moved up north to Montana to live on my dad’s ranch and go to The University of Montana. After one semester, I moved back to Arizona and attended several different community colleges. I finished my degree at Arizona State University. In 2002, I graduated with a B.I.S. degree in Small Business Entrepreneurship and Urban Planning. I continued my education by attending many executive educational classes in Management, Logistics, Systems Architecture and Supply Chain Management. I’m always devouring great business books – ask me what I’m reading now!

I have a variety of interests and hobbies. If it sounds fun and it’s a bit dangerous, then I’m in! Some past things I have gotten myself into: skydiving, running two marathons, fire walking, snowboarding, flying fighter planes, and skateboarding. However, I had to give up skateboarding because I broke 5 ribs on a half-pipe with my oldest son. Now that my ribs are healed, I’m still looking for my next adrenaline fix. You can catch me Muay Tai Boxing, off-roading, and practicing archery. In my free time, you can find me dating my amazing wife, building up and encouraging my 4 children, and contributing to Listen.One.
